No racing here this is just for you and your ride learning just how far you can go and still have control. Push too hard and go off the surface you will be “black” flagged to come in for a discussion on your actions.

The actions were overseen by ProFormance school instructors and the Lost Mines Safety Team on the corners, carefully watching all the action. With handling a big part of new car maker’s selling points the idea of having a safe place to test is the point of the High Performance Sport Driving Day event at Pacific Raceways. Season Final - ND Challange - NOS. Tour #6 10-5-14 38305 Oct 2014 Bremerton, WA – The end of the season gave everyone a last look of the race track for 2014. Development in the area will alter the entry and layout next season when it gets going. With many things to move just to clear the way for progress some ingenuity will be needed along with all the help they can muster on a daunting task.

If you have skills and or equipment to lend a hand give them a call. For this last race day things could not be better in the weather department, sunny 70 degree temperature slight wind perfect.

Over 130 racers filled the grounds after the “Wallys” at the end of racing. Hard to get these trophies so a win means a lot to those who get one. Hoisting these prize pieces today are:

Fall Series #3 At Pacific Raceways

Fall Series #3 10-4-14 49004 Oct 2014 Kent, WA – Continuing on an unusual weather pattern for the northwest no rain for the weekend. Has to be 5 or 6 now in a row, “perfect” for drag racing.

This great weather has to have been a great blessing for Drew Austin and his family testing the dragster for up-coming events, they are ever so close to their target. Good Luck In another family racing venture Jim VanCleve and his son James taking advantage of the nice weather for a “family” outing. Have not seen Jim race since his ride had a red beer logo on it. Today going four rounds before going out in the fifth on a foul. Great to see and talk to him, hope to see him more next season.

For the racers in the Fall Series the chance to race in October with great weather is again not the normal. Big smiles all around from the Jr. Dragsters to the Super Comp dragsters, made no difference, just happy to be racing. One more race in the Series 10-11-14 hope to see you there.

For the winners this day those big smiles on the Jr’s faces courtesy of Jim and Michelle Lewis. Jordan Calhoun and Katie Kapler raced with Jordan claiming the bigger prize in Jr. Lightning. In the Jr. Thunder class Porter Johnson and Cameron Calhoun faced off with Porter taking the top spot. In the non-electronics class Joel Dalke the number one qualifier got the win over Ron Parker. On a First or Worst rule this race a red lighting Marion Hurst gets the win when Brad Jolly crossed the center line.
