29 May 2019 Kent, WA – It was Mid-week motorcycle racing for the Olympic Ironworks sponsored series at Pacific Raceways along with a TnT for the Jr.’s and whoever else desired to test their ride at Pacific Raceways.

This night sixteen riders entered the competition ring hoping to be the sole survivor and claim the prize by the end of the event.

The night belonged to Jim Werre who cut a James Bond like .007 light besting Tom Misfieldt in the finals.

Good luck to all those racing in the mid-week series this season. Signing off from the series.

22 Aug 2018 Kent, WA – Nearly a month between races, the longest in the bike series, brought the scooters back to the dragstrip for some mid-week action.

A pretty steady group in this bunch with new racers joining in as this program sponsored by Olympic Ironworks MC and its owner Gary Tokos.

Besting the group and ending in the winner’s circle a new rider grabbed the goodies – John Goms, who threw down a perfect triple zero reaction time and ran so close to his dial-in to top Tom Misfeldt in the last race of the season.

Till the next race have a great off season.

PRDC Olympic Ironworks Motorcycle Event #6 Was A Scorcher!

25 July 2018 Kent, WA – Heat and hydration – It seems like mother nature is treating this season of racing from one extreme to another in 2018. All drag racers dislike the rain as it stops racing in it’s tracks, but the heat it will stop “YOU”.

There was plenty of liquid seen all over the grounds attempting to keep everyone cool, at the 6th event of the Olympic Ironworks Motorcycle PRDC event.

Keeping his cool and throwing down a number one qualifying spot and riding it all the way to the “WINNERS” circle, made for a story book day for Mike Evans. Jacked from a perfect light to claim the number one spot and getting a break in one round was all that Mike needed to pick up his first Olympic Ironworks mid-week racing.

The next race is August 22nd, see you then.

Olympic Ironworks Motorcycle #5 at Pacific Raceways

11 July 2018 Kent, WA – Hard to believe that only two more dates left to the 2018 Wednesday PRDC at Pacific Raceways. The season is flying by as this mid-week event keeps growing and bringing new riders to the program.

A fine looking white Harley chopper, new to the track with that ride went three rounds lining up against the pure drag bikes pushing some to break out trying to catch this high 12 second chopper.

The Chopper Fell in round three to Mark Sires who took home the hardware after taking out Steve Rosengreen in the finals.

The next Olympic Ironworks PRDC race is July 22.

PRDC Olympic Iron Works #4 at Pacific Raceways

20 June 2018 Kent, WA – When Mother Nature brings out the sunny days the drag strip just loves it, but when she starts combining conditions she can make it down rite miserable.

Dressed in leathers in the heat and humidity has to just soak you up the need to at least get the top down as soon as possible. Though not in leathers those here for the test and tune with all windows up had to be a little un-pleasant with the sun beating in. Plenty of water and liquids for the drag crew doing its normal best even under the hot conditions.

Let’s hope the next race on July 11th has more favorable conditions by toning down the heat that tonight’s winner Jim Werre and his competitors went thru getting to the winners circle.

PRDC #2 at Pacific Raceways

16 May 2018 Kent, WA – Mid-week bike racing gained a few new entries this week to the series sponsored by Olympic Ironworks and Gary Tokos.

Word is getting around of the fun and comradery that that takes place when the group gets together. Laughing, joking and kidding each other as friends do when together but also helping each other when needed and guiding the new racers to the ways of drag bike racing. To put it plain and simple, help each other to “WIN” no matter who it is in the group.

This night Mark Sires and Thomas Agar faced off in the finals with Mark grabbing the top spot. Next race June 6th.
