24 Apr 2015 Kent, WA – Teaching drivers to navigate around the 2.25 mile track at Pacific Raceways can change mid-session. We started with a sunny and chilly but dry track surface. Everything was going to the plan laid out by Don Kitch with his staff of instructors, and then mother- nature throws down a pouring of rain that soaked everything.
After a slight change in the plan and a switch to the wet track mode and carry on as if the weather had no bearing on the final outcome. Dealing with the forces of nature no matter wet or dry at speed on twists and turns is best learned from qualified people. You may think you know how to drive your car until you are behind the wheel with an instructor sitting right next to you with their voice in your ear.
