\"\"<\/a>Certainly for every race track and bracket racer in the NHRA\u2019s Northwest Division the Summit \u201cRace of Champions\u201d is the marquee event of the year. Drivers from each of 16 different race tracks worked hard to be part of this \u201crace within a race\u201d. On the line is a trip to legendary Pomoma Raceway and its season ending AAA Auto Club of Southern California Finals (November 6-8, 2012) to compete for the Summit Bracket Racing World Championships in Super Pro, Pro, Sportsman and Motorcycle\/Snowmobile.<\/p>\n

Summit Racing Equipment pays each driver\/rider $ 3500.00 as prize money and to pay expenses for the trip to beautiful Southern California. In addition, the drivers are treated to special pit parking and a Summit sponsored dinner.<\/p>\n

Prior to eliminations, there are \u201cDriver Introductions\u201d on the starting line and pre-race ceremonies.<\/p>\n

In short, it is a true once in a lifetime achievement and an honor to represent the Northwest.<\/p>\n

This year the ROC was held at Pacific Raceways in conjunction with the Summit E.T. Finals. Due to on track delays and the King County imposed \u201ccurfew\u201d the Summit Race of Champions began on Saturday night, was \u201cinterrupted\u201d due to the curfew; resumed late Sunday between rounds of the regular \u201cDivisional Team Championship\u201d and was finally completed on Monday morning when the semi finals and final rounds of Motorcycle\/Snowmobile were completed!<\/p>\n
