Coming in second and growing bigger each year is the HondaFest NW. The trio of a car show, lead\/follow and drag racing bring the people and vendors to this annual event.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/seeitimagery.smugmug.com\/PacificRaceway\/2019Events\/HondaFest-7Apr2019\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-7757\" src=\"https:\/\/seeitimagery.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/DSC_3943.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"520\" height=\"345\" srcset=\"http:\/\/seeitimagery.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/DSC_3943.jpg 520w, http:\/\/seeitimagery.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/DSC_3943-300x199.jpg 300w, http:\/\/seeitimagery.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/DSC_3943-452x300.jpg 452w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 520px) 100vw, 520px\" \/><\/a>Rows and rows of all kinds of show cars and most all of them daily drivers filled the paddock area as SpeedFactory set up in the middle of the paddock leaving their normal spot as the drag race portion was cancled due to water weepers on the track.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/seeitimagery.smugmug.com\/PacificRaceway\/2019Events\/HondaFest-7Apr2019\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-7758\" src=\"https:\/\/seeitimagery.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/DSC_3980.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"520\" height=\"345\" srcset=\"http:\/\/seeitimagery.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/DSC_3980.jpg 520w, http:\/\/seeitimagery.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/DSC_3980-300x199.jpg 300w, http:\/\/seeitimagery.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/DSC_3980-452x300.jpg 452w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 520px) 100vw, 520px\" \/><\/a>Leading off the day on the 2.25mi. track instructors from ProFormance Racing School do what is called \u201clead\/follow\u201d with a group of three to seven cars. It is 100% follow the leader but that \u201cleader\u201d knows the fastest way around the track.<\/p>\n<p>No fooling around here as the last car in line has a radio and you can\u2019t out run it. You get out of the spirit of the day you will be booted out of line, Safety First. For those that follow the \u201cdrivers\u201d meeting rules you get to push your car a little more than \u201cnormal\u201d driving and doing it \u201csafely\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>This part of the day is also growing as 19 sessions of drivers took part with a few doubling up.
