<\/a>The silver anniversary edition of this annual \u201chappening\u201d was special in a lot of ways.\u00a0 The racers in attendance put on a great show highlighted by \u201cTwig\u201d Ziegler\u2019s vintage Pizza Haven Plymouth Satellite Nitro Funny Car in a \u201cmatch\u201d race with Bucky Austin\u2019s Bucky\u2019s Brake and Muffler Plymouth Arrow Funny Car.<\/p>\nOne of the other cool aspects of this weekend was the variety of classic drag race machinery. Some of which only come out for this event each year, and don\u2019t attend any other drag racing events on the Pacific Raceways schedule. All of the cool race cars plus some of the areas most unique street rods parked in the pits; put on an entirely different \u201ccar show\u201d than you would see at the Puyallup Fairgrounds a mere 15 miles away!<\/p>\n
