This day started at daylight with 100% humidity and visibility less than 1\/8th mile and the sun no where in sight until the fog lifts.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/seeitimagery.smugmug.com\/PacificRaceway\/2018\/TNT-20Oct2018\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-7542\" src=\"https:\/\/seeitimagery.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/DSC_8594.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"520\" height=\"345\" srcset=\"http:\/\/seeitimagery.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/DSC_8594.jpg 520w, http:\/\/seeitimagery.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/DSC_8594-300x199.jpg 300w, http:\/\/seeitimagery.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/DSC_8594-452x300.jpg 452w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 520px) 100vw, 520px\" \/><\/a>The previous few days this was the pattern between 9 and 10 am then the fog was gone and things warmed up nicely to the 60\u2019s. This day however \u201cMother Nature\u201d had other plans for the 175 plus racers and the area around the dragstrip, though just a few hundred feet in elevation it is sunny and warm while here it is, see your breath chilly and you can see barely a mile.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/seeitimagery.smugmug.com\/PacificRaceway\/2018\/TNT-20Oct2018\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-7543\" src=\"https:\/\/seeitimagery.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/DSC_8601.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"520\" height=\"345\" srcset=\"http:\/\/seeitimagery.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/DSC_8601.jpg 520w, http:\/\/seeitimagery.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/DSC_8601-300x199.jpg 300w, http:\/\/seeitimagery.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/DSC_8601-452x300.jpg 452w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 520px) 100vw, 520px\" \/><\/a>Track temps now in the 60\u2019s with \u201cstreet\u201d tires only running the track and little by little warming the surface as the sun is now peeking thru the fog aiding in the process to prep the track for cars with the \u201cslick\u201d tires to make runs.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/seeitimagery.smugmug.com\/PacificRaceway\/2018\/TNT-20Oct2018\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-7544\" src=\"https:\/\/seeitimagery.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/DSC_8685.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"520\" height=\"345\" srcset=\"http:\/\/seeitimagery.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/DSC_8685.jpg 520w, http:\/\/seeitimagery.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/DSC_8685-300x199.jpg 300w, http:\/\/seeitimagery.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/DSC_8685-452x300.jpg 452w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 520px) 100vw, 520px\" \/><\/a>With the sun out nicely and everyone having made a run, it was time for the \u201cGambler\u201d. The race is one run only and the \u201cbest package\u201d takes the cash.<\/p>\n<p>Two \u201cwinners\u201d emerge, electronic and non-electronic, each earning a \u201cGIFT\u201d package of Bardahl products provided by sales representative Renea Berger who shared the winners circle with the electronics winner Mary Burckhard and drag strip manager Ed Garfield.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/seeitimagery.smugmug.com\/PacificRaceway\/2018\/TNT-20Oct2018\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-7541\" src=\"https:\/\/seeitimagery.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/DSC_8840.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"520\" height=\"345\" srcset=\"http:\/\/seeitimagery.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/DSC_8840.jpg 520w, http:\/\/seeitimagery.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/DSC_8840-300x199.jpg 300w, http:\/\/seeitimagery.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/DSC_8840-452x300.jpg 452w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 520px) 100vw, 520px\" \/><\/a>Taking home all the way to Mission, BC in the non-electronics class is Chris Stone in his \u201968 Dart laying down a 0.040 package.
