How do you top that?<\/p>\n<p>Race winners included Katie Kapler in Jr. Thunder; Jordan Calhoun in Jr. Lightning; racing legend Don \u201cThe Worm\u201d Elgin was the Sportsman champ, while Dan Funderburg, won Motorcycle; Ken Reaves emerged victorious in Pro. Super Pro came down to a coin flip due to the rapidly approaching \u201ccounty imposed\u201d cerfew.\u00a0 Brandon Spitali won the \u201cflip\u201d and the points to go with it over Mark Cavar.<\/p>\n<p>The only thing that marred an otherwise super weekend was the untimely accident that saw Chris Cannon Sr. crash his daughter Nikki\u2019s beautiful Corvette Roadster, the good news is Chris Sr. is OK\u2026which is the best news of all.<\/p>\n<p><strong>LATE BREAKING NEWS!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In other \u201clate breaking news\u201d Ed Garfield, (former Track Manager\/Announcer at Champion Raceway in Medford, OR.) has been appointed Drag Strip Manager.
