\"\"<\/a>The Auto Max USA Opener was nothing but \u201cexcitement\u201d from start to finish.<\/p>\n

Everyone was anticipating a great turnout at Pacific Raceways for the Auto Max USA Bracket Series Opener. The weather \u201cgods\u201d blessed us with sunny skies for an Easter weekend \u201cpresent\u201d.<\/p>\n

An outstanding car count and close racing was expected as racers from throughout the Puget Sound converged on Pacific Raceways.<\/p>\n

But along with things expected come things that can; and will surprise you\u2026<\/p>\n

During qualifying multi time track Motorcycle Champion \u201cMighty Joe\u201d Lind experienced mechanical issues and damaged his regular race bike in spectacular fashion.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>But like the saying goes all good athletes \u201cmust get back on the horse\u201d. So, Joe jumped on his trusty street bike and piloted it to another series opener win in beating defending track champ Jacob Havens in the final.<\/p>\n

In Super Pro, Kevin Heffington\u2019s \u201909 Mullis dragster got the best of Toby Petersen\u2019s orange 1978 Malibu.<\/p>\n

In Pro Bracket\u2019s final round Brad Craig in his 67 Camaro beat the wheelstanding\u00a0 Monza of Everett\u2019s Martin Lambert.<\/p>\n

In Sportsman, Jackie Soulek took the win in her 95 Camaro over the Mustang of Lake Tapps\u2019 Keith Hadley due to an untimely \u201cred light\u201d.<\/p>\n
