\"Swift<\/a>21 Jun 2014 Kent, WA – The house was packed with this multi-class race day. Better than 250 entries filled the classes and for those spectators who watched from the many viewing areas around the track they saw plenty of side by side racing.<\/p>\n

From Jr. Dragsters to Top Dragsters with Nitrous-oxide powered street cars. Day-long sun kept the heat on for all and the crew-chiefs guessing, how much can we put to it and still hold? Racing in the finals changes your attack as the sun is on quite a downward angle and the heat-sink that this much sun has given the black racing surface starts putting it back into the air. Cooler track and cooler temps make power and when put to the track make speed and ET’s, both of which can be personal best’s.<\/p>\n

PS- On a personal note the day started with a tribute to Pro racer Josh Colson who too soon lost his life. As a friend and a mechanic and customer to me he will be missed in many ways.<\/p>\n
