\"ET<\/a>15 June 2014 Bremerton, WA – The weekend was filled with racing and Mother Nature was covering the northwest with clouds and scattered rain, not the forecast if you are a drag racer let alone the host.<\/p>\n

Friday afternoon\/early evening\u2019s test and tune set the stage for the racers to tune and test. Kind of damp with no sun was a whole new ballgame, rather than the normal sunny and dry conditions the racers enjoy and thrive in.<\/p>\n

Overnight, rain soaked the track and that had the crew out early drying and prepping the surface. With the sun peaking out just at the right time to help warm and with the prep work, the crew got the racing off at the run order time.<\/p>\n

In and out sun and the radar saying the rain was coming, got things pushed along in a hurry; we got almost all of the finals finished then the rain brought everything to a halt.<\/p>\n

The remaining finals will be finished the next morning. No winner’s pictures.<\/p>\n
