The other factor is the weather. You get to drive in all weather conditions.<\/p>\n<p>Rain,snow, etc. Of the weather that &#8220;will&#8221; stop any driving on the course the three main one&#8217;s are &#8220;hydroplaning&#8221;, &#8220;lightning&#8221;, and &#8220;ice&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>The latter was the case for a short time during the practice day. A short time with a torch and broom cured the issue allowed the day to begin. This type of issue is only one part of what the instructors and Pacific personal check for before anyone attempts to lap the 2.25 mile track. Safety first is always the first order of business.
