\"Div.<\/a>At the beginning of the season, after the track dates are set, racers set out their season plans for race dates.<\/p>\n

Seeing a chance to race for five days in a row has to be a big “alert” for\u00a0 vacation from work. Such is the case for this years LORDS NHRA DIvision Six Series Event(s) at Pacific Raceways.<\/p>\n

Looking around the property race teams were packed in at every possible spot. Wednesday’s Test ant Tune had many doing so. Mother Nature took away Thursday. to rain and pretty good downpours. Still four days of racing in good conditions is a good thing.<\/p>\n

Packing two races in three days even under ideal conditions is quite the task. Good weather and great track prep gained three new records for the books. Northwest Division Six Director Frank Nelson Jr. and his crew did a masterful job of pulling it off.<\/p>\n

\nTAD Chris Demke and a quicker ET beat Johnny Ahten.
\nTAF Steve Gasparrelli won easy when Shane Westerfield lost traction.
\nCOMP Alan Ellis and his Ford T got by Ralph Van Paepeghem and his Bantam.
\nSuper Stock Jody Lang got another with a win over Kory Alby.
\nStock B.C. native Dave Jung took the win over local racer Steve Cozakos.
\nSC\u00a0 In a battle of the Mike’s, Mike Shannon stopped Mike Dalrymple.
\nSG David Holmes got the win when Ken Mostowich ran too quick.
\nSS #12 Qualifier Steve Lowe got by #1 Qualifier Brian Oglesbee.
\nTS Steve Downs 7.589 edged the 7.748 of Shawn Herbst.
\nTD Grace Presser from Salem, OR. bettered Fontana, CA. native Thomas Bayer.
\nSM Brian Bognuda beat Jon Jenkins.
\nSPRO Craig Dion and a better reaction got by up and comer Ashley Lindsey.
\nPRO Greg Steen won when Jeremy Witherboc fouled.<\/p>\n

\nTop Fuel Tommy Grimes from Winston Salem, N.C. beat Steve Dorn from Milwaukie, OR.
\nPRO Dragster Prescott Valley, AZ. native Bill Bentz stopped Snohomish, WA. local Rod Anderson
\nPro Gas James Surber and a quicker ET got by Nick Stute in a close one
\nStreet Pro Veri Smith was alone in the win
\nHot Street Veri Smith grabbed another by beating Charles Robbins<\/p>\n
